This Shurflo Piranha Ballast pump cartridge can be used to replace the cartridge of a ballast pump without replacing the entire pump, which is cheaper and easier than buying a new pump. Works with 800, and 1100 GPH pumps. Comes with 36" lead as well. 

Our cartridges are OEM Malibu/Axis cartridges with a plug and play Delphi connector to simplify installation. This feature will not be found on the majority of cartridges sold online. For older boats without the connector you can simply remove it and use wire connectors for installation.

The best way to identify if you need the cartridge or the whole pump is to determine if it's leaking or not. If the pump is leaking, it's likely the housing has cracked and you will need a whole new pump; otherwise, you'll likely just need the cartridge.
