Need to determine which cable to purchase? The steering cable part number should be printed in white letters on the cable about 1-2 feet from the rack. The cable length is indicated by the last two digits of the part number. Example SSC13415 is a 15’ cable.

If you are not able to find the part number, you will need to remove the cable and measure the cable. To do so measure the plastic cable jacket in inches and add 30” to that number and then round up to the nearest foot. Just measure the plastic jacket, not the metal connecting rod.
