Restore proper operating temperature and cooling system sealing with this Genuine Indmar 160° Thermostat Replacement Kit, built for low-profile thermostat housings and supplied with the correct gaskets for the common 2-piece housing system. This marine thermostat kit is widely used on raw-water-cooled Indmar 5.7L engines and fits many Indmar applications across model years 1996–2015. It can also be used on older 2-bolt or 3-bolt thermostat housing systems found across Indmar models.
Using the correct thermostat helps your Indmar engine reach and maintain its intended operating temperature for dependable performance. If your engine is fresh water / closed-cooled, you will typically need the drilled thermostat (Indmar 986034) instead of this standard raw-water thermostat.
