This patented tower surfboard rack mounts directly overhead on your tower keeping boards securely cradled against soft EVA padding—so they stay off your upholstery and out of direct sun. By storing heat-sensitive composite boards in the shade, the XR1 helps reduce the risk of bubbling and de-lamination compared to traditional exposed racks. Wide nylon straps (encased in a neoprene sleeve) hold your board firmly in rough water while maintaining maximum headroom thanks to its low-profile design!

Great way to get your boards out of the sun

"I purchased two of these racks and installed them on our 2023 Malibu 23LSV with a G5 tower. . . The instructions stated that there were two different sized rubber spacers included but I only got one. . . and I needed the other size. . . but I said, "not today Satan" and made it work. They work well and look great installed. For my tower and Bimini combination, I find it best to put the boards in backwards (tail towards the bow) so I don't have the fins poking into the Bimini top. . . I'd hate to rip that!"
